Rod ParmenterRod Parmenter has been a fan of action sports since he was a child growing up in Oregon. At 16, Rod had already made a name for himself, appearing on the cover of Ski Magazine and featured on the pages of numerous other publications. A starring role in the Warren Miller movie, "Steep & Deep" soon followed as Rod gained notoriety for his daring and smooth skiing style.

Already possessing a love for photography, his passion for film-making soon followed, and Rod realized he could capture the essence of the sports he loved from behind a camera. Finding success in his ability to produce and direct, Rod founded his own production company at age 22, turning his passion into a bona fide career. Since then, Rod has traveled all over the world filming some of the world's most celebrated athletes, including Tony Hawk, Shaun White and Johnny Moseley. In the last ten years his focus has shifted, and Rod now films today's young athletes that hope to become tomorrow's big stars. With a vision of promoting a positive youth movement centered around action sports, Rod hopes to inspire kids to discover their true potential. |
